- Booking enquiries: your name, email address, phone number, the dates you are interested in, and any message you send us.
- Contact form submissions: your name, email address, the subject of your message and the message itself.
- Technical information: basic information your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address, device type and the pages you visit. This is used only to keep the site working and secure.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. We do not collect special category data (such as health, ethnicity or political opinions).
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to reply to your enquiry and arrange your stay, send booking confirmations and pre-arrival information, answer questions sent through the contact form, keep records required by accounting and tax law, and improve and protect the website.
Our lawful bases under the UK GDPR are: contract, legal obligation, and legitimate interests.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for marketing purposes. We share information only where necessary, including with our email and hosting providers, our accountant, and public authorities where legally required.
How long we keep your information
Booking and accounting records are kept for 7 years to meet UK tax and accounting requirements. General enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 2 years and then deleted.
