At Glaneirw Estate in Tanygroes near Cardigan, the Coach House and Courtyard are each five-bedroom properties for up to ten. The Apartment is a separate smaller option. Write down who is travelling, children's ages and which people are comfortable sharing. Then ask about the actual bed configurations. Five bedrooms do not automatically mean five interchangeable rooms, and a maximum occupancy is not a guarantee that a particular sleeping arrangement suits your party.
Bathrooms matter almost as much as bedrooms. Discuss who needs privacy, who gets up early and whether anyone finds stairs or particular shower arrangements difficult. Send specific access questions to the owners before booking. Do not infer step-free access or suitability for a mobility aid from a photograph, a ground-floor reference or a short description.

The Coach House: extended-family space and private gardens
The Coach House accommodates up to ten in five bedrooms. Its current published bathroom provision is three bathrooms plus a downstairs cloakroom, not five ensuite bedrooms. That distinction is worth discussing if several adults need to get ready at the same time.
Its private gardens give an extended family somewhere to spend an unhurried afternoon between outings. Think shared breakfast, a local beach visit and time back at the house, rather than everyone spending the full day in cars. As with any holiday property, adults should inspect the accommodation and outdoor areas on arrival and supervise children appropriately.
This can be a good fit when your priority is a family base with character and private-garden downtime, and the bathroom arrangements work for your group. The Coach House also has its own games room with full-size table tennis and a dartboard, useful when people want a different activity without another outing. The Courtyard: five ensuite bedrooms and sociable downtime
The Courtyard also accommodates up to ten in five bedrooms, but every bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom, with a cloakroom in addition. For friends or several couples sharing a holiday, this can make the balance between communal time and personal privacy easier.
The open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area supports cooking and conversation, while the games room provides another activity for evenings or a wet afternoon. Its patio and garden offer outdoor downtime when conditions suit. These are features of the individual property, not an invitation to bring in additional people from elsewhere.
Choose it because that layout suits your booked party, rather than because two properties happen to have the same maximum occupancy. If pets are part of the plan, the Courtyard's current terms allow them only by prior arrangement. Ask before booking and obtain confirmation; the estate's other properties have different rules.
The Apartment: a separate option for a couple, not extra group capacity
Sometimes a couple wants to holiday in the same area as relatives while keeping a quieter routine. The Apartment, on the estate, may be a separate accommodation option subject to availability and confirmed arrangements with the owners. Its private terrace and wood burner suit slower mornings and evenings away from a larger group's schedule.
Do not treat it as an automatic add-on to a larger house or add its occupancy to another property's advertised capacity. A separate reservation does not establish permission for shared use of gardens, games rooms, dining areas or other facilities. Confirm any proposed visiting arrangements before booking; access between properties and estate-wide gatherings are not included by implication.
The Apartment is intended for two adults, with a sofa bed for up to two children. It is not a four-adult alternative. For this type of reunion planning, think of it as potential separate accommodation for a couple, not an overflow bedroom promised as part of a group package.
Plan togetherness without requiring the same day for everyone
Choose one shared anchor for a day, such as a beach picnic or lunch in Cardigan, and let the rest be optional. Older relatives may prefer a shorter stroll while others walk further; parents may need an early return; someone else may simply want a quiet morning. Agree meeting points and avoid making one person's car the only way home.
Aberporth can provide a nearby coastal focus, with the option of a walk towards Tresaith. Consult the official route information: only part of the path is inclusive-access, so it should not be described as wholly wheelchair or pushchair friendly.
